The Hotchkiss Brain Institute and the University of Calgary are home to many researchers who use optogenetic tools for neuroscience research.
The Neurophotonics platform offers a unique opportunity to optimize efforts to develop new tools in collaboration which these users, to share expertise and technologies, and thereby make research a truly collaborative effort across all the laboratories of the platform.
Members of all nodes will work together towards common goals – to develop the most innovative tools for neuroscience research to answer important neuroscience questions.
